Dan Crowley

As a member of University Catering at The Ohio State University, Dan brings over 15 years of expertise in marketing, sales, fundraising, and event management. In his current role as Assistant Catering Manager, he works closely with university departments and external clients and vendors across campus to coordinate and deliver successful catering events. This includes managing high-end banquets, meetings, corporate gatherings, football tailgates, and various events involving food, alcohol, and bar services.

Dan’s extensive background includes serving as the director of marketing for the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY Albany), agency of record for the Three-County Fair, and owner and operator of a custom apparel and marketing company for 10 years. He has planned notable events such as the World Within Reach Speaker Series at SUNY Albany, featuring figures like President Clinton, Barbara Walters, and Magic Johnson. His past clients include the New York Giants, General Electric, and the team from Orange is the New Black, and he has played a significant role in fundraising efforts for many notable causes. Dan graduated from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with family, going to the zoo or on nature hikes, and watching Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball with his loved ones. His deep knowledge of event management and dedication to building relationships enrich his personal and professional life.
